Crafting good
web content

  • WYSIWYG editors like MS Word have made it too easy to not think about the underlying structure of a document.

  • HTML on the other hand requires that you think about and correctly implement this structure to give the content meaning.

The problem

  1. Content is not described properly, which affects search engine rankings and users of
    assistive technologies (like screen readers).

  2. Content is not styled as per designed/intended.

This disconnect causes the quality of web content to be affected

  1. Semantic markup requires that HTML elements be used according to their intended purpose.

  2. Semantic markup requires the separation of content and presentation.

Paragraphs

The Roosters have been very sound defensively throughout the year and trusted each other, regardless of the changes they've had to make. Paul Momirovski was playing his second NRL game on Saturday and didn't let anyone down because of the trust they've built throughout the year.

Joseph Manu has come a long way defensively. He's had his issues in the past but he's been able to hold that centre spot down. Teams come down and attack their line and come away with nothing, and then Cronk goes down and rolls it in or they score a try.

Throughout the pre-season, we will be launching several unique video pieces including a weekly documentary series 'Be The Player' tracking the team in a fly on the wall look at the NRL pre-season.

You can view this documentary every Friday afternoon from November 9.

In March, we will launch 'Untold Stories' where the legends share weekly insights about previous game and their careers.

And that's only the beginning.
