The title of Captain of the Yacht now allows to carry out commercial activities with a pleasure boat as Captain of Yacht PRO.

The Yacht Captain PRO, with limited professional qualifications, can be considered the gateway to the PPER, so far, the most complete title for working with pleasure boats.

With the title of Captain of Yacht you can govern boats of up to 24 meters in length and sail without limit of distance to the coast. In order to obtain this degree you must be in possession of the title of Yacht Master and pass several theoretical exams.

As in the title of Yacht Pattern there are two modules that must be approved: Navigation module (With the subjects of astronomical navigation theory and calculations) and the generic module (With the subjects of Meteorology and oceanography and English).

Captain de Yate is the highest ranking of all Spanish qualifications for recreational sailing and allows the government of all types of boats and recreational vessels with no length limit or distance from the coast.

The only limitations that this qualification has are the number of passengers that will go on board, a maximum of twelve without counting the crew, and the gross tonnage * that must be less than 3000 GT.
