The best time of my entire career was when I worked in Alaska as a fishing captain
from 1995 to 2007.- Ted blenkers

This period allowed me to have lots of free time so I captained
many research and survey vessels in the US international water, West Coast of
Canada, and Mexico. We did a lot of great work from ROV operations, dragging
sensors, core samples, and tsunami buoy deployment. We also worked with
various governmental agencies such as NOAA, USGS, US Navy, and many
international survey companies.

But what are fishing boats?

Fishing is the capture and extraction of fish or other aquatic animal species from their natural environment. Ancestrally, fishing has been one of the earliest economic activities of many peoples in the world; According to FAO statistics, the total number of fishermen and fish farmers is estimated at close to 38 million.

Due to its purpose, other types of fishing are distinguished, such as commercial fishing, carried out for economic and large-scale purposes, and sport fishing, carried out for leisure purposes.

Fishing vessels are called all types of maritime vessels specially designed and equipped to be used in the fishing work of the different edible marine species that exist.

A ship or vessel is any concave and fusiform construction, made of wood, metal or other material, capable of floating in water and used as a means of transport and fishing.

Those ships with one or several decks, whose size, strength or strength is suitable for important maritime activities, are called ships.
