Risks

  • ​Person in monkey being able to see properly when the studio is dark

  • Tripping over wires

  • Lights being knocked over

  •  ​Having many people in the studio space at once

 

​How to overcome the risk

  •  Ensure everything is put away properly
  • Place the lights in a sensible place so it does not affect any of the actors
  • ​Make sure everyone knows where the wires are so they don't trip up on it

Skate park

Risks

  • ​Person in monkey riding the bike with the monkey head on may affect eyesight

  • ​Performing tricks on the bike

  •  ​Holding the equipment hand held when following person on the bike

  • ​Falling out of the tree when sat in it

 

​How to overcome the risk

  •  Ensure the area around the monkey doing tricks is clear so no one or nothing gets in its way
  • Make sure person wearing monkey suit is comfortable
  • ​Take extra care when sat in the tree and when holding the equipment

 

Car scene

Risks

  • ​Monkey damaging car when going through window

 

​How to overcome the risk

  •  Take our time while filming the monkey
  • ​Have the car parked so it doesn't disturb traffic

 

Supermarket scene

  • ​Getting in peoples way who are shopping

  • Items that may be on the floor that the monkey cant see

 

  • ​Be alert to the people around us

  •  ​Make sure area around the monkey is clear
