Sometimes the questions will not have a sequence with the previous one.

Transitioning is important to us, because we need to articulate our speech.

Linking words

According to Collins Dictionary a linking word is a word which shows a connection between clauses or sentences.

Formal linking words are not for simple questions!

This kind of words, in the speaking task, help the listener to understand better.

They are part of the "Fluency and Coherence" criterion.
