Will

The room is so hot, so I’ll open the door.

I promise I will pay you tomorrow.

He will come to the country next year.

They will not cook this week.

Going to

  • Plans or intentions.
  • Predictions with present evidence (100% sure).
  • Be + Going to + Verb in infinitive + Comp.

He is not going to the cinema with us.

I am going to eat a sandwich tonight.

I am going to present my final exams tomorrow.

They aren't going to eat out tonight.

We are going to visit grandma next summer.
