Galvanize uses a mastery-based grading system
organized around standards
Target, create, and manipulate DOM elements
- Run DOM manipulation code after the DOM has been loaded
- Remove, find, modify, create, and append DOM elements
- Loop over collections of nodes to manipulate multiple items
Students can attempt checkpoints as many times as they need in order to pass
Students are assigned either a 1, 2, or 3 according to their level of mastery
Mastery refers to your ability to understand the WHAT, WHY, and HOW

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, students must:
Fulfill attendance requirements
Master standards to attain a 2.8
or above
Participate in Career Service Program

Every absence is unexcused until you show us you've completed the assigned work.
Lateness is a partial day unexcused which can be made up with an Exercism.io.
We will check in with you a few times each quarter in regards to your score.
If you don't complete this, you can't graduate!
