Ancillary Task Photoshoot Day

We did not have good pictures of our artist which we captured on our shoot days of the music video. So we planed to have a proper photoshoot. Which we conducted on the 17th of March 2018. At Arooj's house in Model Town. Arooj did the photography will Me and Ramsha helped her with small things and directed her.

We though of capturing this shot in the drawing room , we made the artist sit  on the floor leaning against the wall. We moved the sofa to clear some space so that the wall paper could also be captured as the background. Arooj had to sit down, so that she easily could focus on his face and get a mid-shot at eye level. Also the lights were pretty good, so we did not need any extra lighting.  

This shot was also captured in the drawing room. We asked our artist to sit on the chair and pose. Arooj sat on the edge of the  table to focus from the eye level to get the perfect shot.

This picture was taken in the lobby, we made the artist sit on the fancy chair placed in the corner. There was a corner lamp which's light gave a very beautiful affect It created a nice light effect in the corner.

Arooj had to bend low in order to get to the same level of the artist's face for closeups and mid shots. No extra lighting was used for this shot except of the camera's own flash.

We hadn't planned on taking this picture, we were in one of the rooms where artist had just came to change his attire for the next set of pictures to be taken.The black dark background of the curtains appealed to us alot so we ended up and clicked a random picture which turned out to be pretty good and later we used it in our rejected digipak and also in our website.

We clicked more images in Arooj's brother's room again with a different attire and different poses. We asked the artist to sit on a small couch and asked him to change poses. Arooj again had to sit on the floor to match the eye-level of the artist.

Then we made him sit on the bean bag while holding a guitar and striking a pose, Arooj again had to sit on the floor. We used the spotlights in that room for a few pictures and also lights in that room. We had to use flash while clicking some pictures the lighting was a bit dull

We used Arooj's brother's computer table alsp the background had some casual looking posters and stylish wall clocks. We asked our artist to sit on the computer chair where we took some shots. The background created a vibe as if the place was a studio. To add more to the feel we placed the guitar on the table. Arooj had to change positions, like sometimes sitting on a chair and sometimes on the floor.
