How did you integrate technologies (Software, hardware, and online) in this project?

In this age technology is advancing day by day, and it comes with such upgrades and updates which make it facile for the public,us for example to create something unique sitting in our homes or say even sitting in our bedroom. Just like technology helps other people , technology played the most significant role in create our final project through the use of different hardware, software and online platforms.

Hardware

My  "DELL Latitude E7440" (Laptop)-For using , online websites/platforms, presentation tools, and for collecting and saving all the important data.I could use all the different software like, Photoshop, online platforms to create my presentations and not forgetting this was the major source of blogging all our research,planning and production process on Tumblr. I was able to save all my important files,folders, pictures, notes and video clippings.

 My" iPhone 7 " was used for taking pictures and blogging, sometimes when my  laptop and camera were not available. My cell phone proved to be very helpful whenever I wanted to get in touch with my other  group mates,all of them were just one call or text away,if we had anything important to do, most importantly I had the Tumblr app on my phone which meant I could blog my work even if I was out of town and I did not have my Laptop. It also came in handy when  I used it to take evidence pictures and location pictures,. I also took the screenshots of the feedback from YouTube and Facebook from  my cell phone.

Cameras were used for music video shooting,doing photo shoots of our artist and for capturing the necessary photographs related to the project.

USB

SD Cards

We used a USB to  transfer all of our music video footage and pictures into it so that they would remain safe and also we could easily transfer the things to the Desktop or the Laptop.

The SD Cards were used to store the videos and pictures.

Software

Adobe Premiere Pro CC

This software was the most important software in our project, we used it to construct our entire music video on this software.

Windows Movie Maker

We used Windows Movie Maker to make the rough cut of our music video.

Adobe PhotoShop 

We used "Adobe Photoshop" for designing our Digipak. As we had already photoshop for our AS project, we didn't face any trouble working on photoshop.

Corel Draw

One of our group members made 3 Digipaks on Corel Draw which were rejected.

Social Networking Apps

Messenger

We had a group on Messenger as one of our group member did not have access to whatsapp, we would plan out all our work on the messenger group.

Snapchat

I used snapchat to take evidence pictures and videos sometimes if my phone started having memory problems.

Online Platforms

I used Prezi for creating slideshow presentations in the beginning of A2 but due to it being very slow and very difficult to embed on Tumblr I stopped using it.

Slides was the most easiest online presentation sites to work on it was fast and very easy to embed on Tumblr I made a lot of presentations on it throughout the year.

I used Chrome for surfing the internet to find inspiration and research about our genre and other important things on the internet.

I used Wix for creating our website, it was complicated at first but slowly I got a hang of it.

I used Tumblr to blog all my work done throughout the year.

I used Canva to make presentations as the templates were really eye catching and beautiful and I made a lot of presentations on it.

We used YouTube to upload our Rough Cut and the Final music video. We also used it to watch plenty of music videos while our research work of this project.

 I used Pic Monkey to create collages and covers for some presentations.

We used Google Forms to make a survey for our target audience, and also were able to collect all the results at the end.

I used Scribd for posting the synopsis of my music video on my blog

Facebook also helped us a lot in our project our Media Studies teacher had made a Media group where he would update us about the work we were suppose to do,and also we could also our problems in the facebook group and then he would respond to us clearing our confusions.

I used Gmail to email pictures and videos  to other group members as the quality and the resolution do not damage unlike sending pictures on Whatsapp and Messenger.
