 How do your products

engage with the audience and

how would they be distributed

as real media products?

We started our research making an conducting an online questionnaire on Google Forms to get an idea about what the , audiences will like to see in our music video so that we could make a music video which would be of the audiences choice and they would like it.

Questionnaire 

Some of the things we kept in mind and did add in our music video were:-

  1. When we asked the audiences  about what kind of shots would they like to see more so  35.9% like land escape or scenic beauty shots,keeping this in mind we added a lot of these,which can see in our music video.
  2. Then we asked the people whether they would like to see real life situations and Majority 65.3% preferred real life situations, so we ended up adding that in our music video as well.
  3. We then asked that do people relate music videos with their own life and 54.4% of the people said that they did relate, so we made a music video which a lot of people can relate to on a personal level.
  4. The next question was whether people would want to see any woman for visual pleasure and surprisingly 55.4% people did not want a woman in our music video ,so we ended up not adding one.

The feedback from our audience  was extremely important to see if our music video was successful within our target audience. So, we posted our music video on different social media platforms to get the audiences opinions and views. We posted the music video on YouTube and luckily we got a very positive feedback. The comments of the audience gave us the satisfaction that what we were trying to show was understood by the audiences.

I pulled some strings with help from my mother and then I was able to get feedback from a well known Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan, but it took almost 1-2 months as he is a very busy man and is always working on projects here in Pakistan, getting proffesional feedback was defintely an achievement in my site, the best part was that he liked our video, which made us more confident about our music video.

The record label is the most important source of distribution it makes the Album available to the audiences across the country (Pakistan) and some countries abroad. For the distribution of our music album, T-Series is going to play this role. This record label will distribute the music video in the subcontinent ( India and Pakistan) and South East Asia where Urdu and Hindi is understood.

Online Distribution 

Online distribution is the quickest and most easiest way to promote any media product in this age. We used  Facebook for the distribution for our music video as  almost everyone now uses it, and of course YouTube which is the most popular video sharing and viewing site in the world  for the online distribution. However, platforms likeSound Cloud  can also be used to share the audio songs, as sound cloud is one of the most popular music sharing website these days. but we also shared the whole album's songs on our artists website.

 Our music video will be aired on the following music channels.

Airing on Radio 

The song would also be aired on radio as in the subcontinent  radio is very common a lot of people still have those in their houses and not to mention their cars as well so will also be promoting song through Radio on the following Radio Stations.

  • FM 98.3 Radio Mirchi (Indian Radio Station)
  • FM 93.5 Red(Indian Radio Station)

Other distribution ways

Launch Evening: There would be a proper  star studded release of the album. Artists, Actors and Music Composers would be invited,

 Guest Appearance on Reality Shows: Our artist would go as a guest to reality shows like, Pakistan Idol, Rising Superstar and Battle Of The Bands where he would promote his album.

Meet and Greet: A proper meet and greet would be held at Lahore, Islamabad , Karachi, Mumbai and Delhi where the public can come and meet the artist which also be followed by a CD signing event later on, the album would be available for sale at the meet and greet as well.

Press Conference: The artist would be holding up press conferences were he would talk about his new album and upcoming ventures.
