Why Human Development?

What is PSYCH 150?

Development from conception to death; biological, physiological, and social factors and their interactions at each stage.

 

 

1 Learn the major theories of human development.
2 Understand how the influences of biology,     environment, and socio-cultural factors interact to shape an individual’s development.
3 Gain knowledge of processes through which adaptive or maladaptive development progresses.
4 Learn how research on human development is conducted using the tools of behavioral and biological science.
