How does it link to the music video and genre?

For the Indie genre, most of the artist wear simple clothing, like shirts, t-shirts, jumpers etc. This allows the focus to be directly on the talent of their singing rather than their appearance.

My artist will not wear anything shiny or wear jewelry to stand out he will stand out because of his talent. 

What will my artist be wearing?

My artist will be wearing something very casual like a turtle neck jumper with jean jacket. Similar to the style of Sam Smith who wears nothing but casual clothing. 

The indie genre in terms of clothing is well known for their checkered shirts and jeans, something very high street.  

You can clearly see the style of Sam Smith. He is wearing casual navy blue jacket with a black jumper underneath. It is conventional for an Indie artist to dress casual and simplistic as it is known and easily picked out by an Indie audience. 

How does it link to the Music Video?

My artists clothing is really reflective to the music video as the diversity of the video including the location, melody and narrative of our song is simplistic and the simplicity of the video itself matches the clothing really well. The locations like greenary, roads and alleyways are presentable in music videos to casual clothings like the ones I've talked about in this presentation.
