Nutrients your body needs

When you think of all the nutrients your body needs, it may not be surprising that 3/4 of the US population don't make their  daily recommended dietary allowances. There are many things that give you nutrients , you have the ability to get.  

Eat healthier 

Fruits and vegetables aren't just good tasting , but they can help you live longer and feel more energized. Nutritional powerhouses including fiber, vitamins, fruit and veggies can lower your risk of heart disease of 76% . 

Exercising 

Not everyone likes the word exercise, but what if I told you that it could keep you alive longer? Yeah exercising can keep your weight in control but it can also combats health conditions and diseases. It even boosts your energy and mood. So maybe next time you hear the word exercise, think of living longer. Take your friend up on that run. 

Sleeping 

Who doesn't like sleep? Well now you can know how it can even help your health. Getting enough sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. So maybe tonight, go to sleep an hour earlier. 

Stay out of the sun

Yeah it's nice to go to the beach, but you have to be careful of that powerful sun. Sunblock can protect you from skin cancer. Reapplying that sun screen can keep you from having painful sun burn. 

NO drugs

  • Drugs can weaken your immune system and increase ability to get infections 
  • Can cause abnormal heart rates or even heart attacks
  • Can cause many problems to major organs in your body

NO alcohol 

  • Can cause blackouts , anxiety and memory loss
  • Long-term drinking can cause permanent brain damage 
  • Addiction can even cause more health problems
  • Alcohol poisoning is a major factor in drinking
  • people ages 12-20 drink up to 11% percent of the  US consumption

Effects of a poor diet 

Eating unhealthy can cause many health problems. Obesity is one of America's biggest problems. Unhealthy habits can be caused from your family environment. If you want a good healthy body, you need to cut back on the junk food and start eating veggies/fruits. 

Smoking

  • Lung disease can be a big affect from smoking
  • Even being around people who smoke can cause you to have health problems 
  • You friends might be doing it , but know theses effects and think . Is it really worth it?
