Future Progressive

will + be + present participle(-ing) 

Future

代表事件的發生是在現在以後

Progressive

指在一個事件中的特定時間點

Future Progressive

  • To express that an action will be happening over a period of time at some specific point in the future. 

 

  • 表示發生在(1)未來(2)一個事件中間的(3)一個特定時間點的行動

For Instense 

  • Even though I will be studying when you call, I will answer the pone.

 

  • Howard will be working on this note for tomorrow.

Future Perfect

will + have + past participle

Perfect

指一段完成的事件

Future Perfect

  • To indicate that an activity will be completed before another event or time in the future.
  • 表示一個活動將會在某個時間點以前完成。

Example

  • Cindy will have finished her homework by the time she goes to sleep.

 

  • We will have written five essays by the end of the semester.

Future Perfect Progressive

will + have + been + present participle(-ing)

Future Perfect Progressive

  • To indicate that an action has been in progress for a period of time before another event or time in the future. 
  • 表示這個活動,將會在,未來的一個時間點以前,的這個事件期間,完成。

Example

  • Calos will have been working on his dissertation for three years before he gets his Ph.D. degree.

 

  • By the tim next year, I will have been living here for two years.
