First Evaluation Period - STUDENT-CREATED VISUALS: Mind Map about the project topic
Create a "Mind Map" using Freemind with information, links and graphs (of blogs, videos, thesis, scientific papers, etc) in English about the project topic.
Objectives of the Assessment:
- Students will search and identify relevant information in English about project topic.
- Students will show understanding of key ideas with the creation of the mind map.

First Evaluation Period - DESIGN OF THE PROJECT: Short report
Write short report in English (2-3 pages) with flow charts, graphs, and/or diagrams . To explain the most relevant aspects of the project design.
Objectives of the Assessment:
- Students will show the ability to solve the project problem proposing an initial design that is viable and offers good performance.
- Students will try their writing and explaining skills in English creating an illustrated short report.

First Evaluation Period - INTERACTION WITH MAKER COMMUNITY: Tweets, e-mails, forums
Write tweets, e-mails, letters to makers, and/or participate in forums of makers websites (Arduino, Makezine, Makefaire, etc).
Objectives of the Assessment:
- Students will be able to interact in a virtual way (in English) in order to ask for specific information about the project topic.

Objectives of the Assessment:

- Students will describe the most important aspects of their projects in a illustrated poster in English.
- Students will share their posters with "maker community" through social networks or appropiated websites (Arduino, Makezine, etc).

SECOND EVALUATION PERIOD - MAKE THE PROJECT: OUTSIDE EXHIBITION
Implement the project and exhibit it in outside activity in order to promote open-source technologies and make visible the iniciatives of the Electronics Engineering Program.

- Students will show the ability to solve practical challenges using the acquired concepts in their carreer..
- Students will be able to explain academic vocabulary in English related with their projects.
