Builder Blitzing is an effective way of providing additional coverage and support in ASM territories, typically undertaken by Keylite’s brand developers.
The aim is to discover new sales leads and harvest new data on prospective customers by introducing Keylite products in their own environment on site.
Meeting the builders is a proactive way of generating opportunities and striving for sales growth in underperforming towns and cities.
It also serves as a useful propaganda strategy; by showing stockists and merchants, that we are proactively engaged in generating sales leads and providing them with opportunities to increase their sales volume.
Engaging with the ASMs to discover the underperforming towns within their area in order to provide an effective resource.
Identify which locations in particular are facing strong competition with rival brands.
Utilise effective research tools available to collate as much information around potential opportunities within a specific location.
eg Glenigan, Google, CRM, Social Media etc
Have a proactive approach in finding projects and present a confident and professional attitude when showcasing products to prospective customers.
Be attentive to detail. Gather as much information about a project is invaluable and provides the ASM the best possible chance of securing a potential order.
eg. correct full site address, relevant contacts, product requirements (where applicable), phone numbers, office addresses etc.
Builders love freebies. Marketing materials are supplied as a reminder of on site interaction.
Just like at a Demo Day, leaving a few mugs or beanies leaves a positive impression, increasing the likelihood of the builder becoming a future Keylite customer. The marketing department can send out materials upon request.
