The Keylite Roof Lantern creates the ultimate daylighting experience with the ability to convert dull rooms into vibrant living spaces.

Ideal for flat roof extensions, these elegant lanterns constitute less framework and more glass to facilitate daylighting on a grand scale.

 

Frequently installed in kitchens and living space.

 

Keylite Roof Lanterns are supplied with the same external grey finish (RAL 7016) to our roof windows and white interior (RAL 9010).

Upon request, we can also cater for alternative RAL shades.

Conservation lanterns are available as a standard application with a black external finish (RAL 9005).

Introduction

The framework within a Keylite Flat Roof Lantern is among the slimmest on the market. The 57mm wide spa and ridge section enhances the aesthetic appearance of the unit, maximising the total glazing area as well as providing all structural integrity required.

1. Pre Drilled Eaves Beam

Eliminates drilling & measuring on site with correct amount of fastening used.

2. Glazing Retainer

Reduces installation time to seconds per unit. Adds security and prevents air leakage.

3. One Bolt End Spas

Utilises tapered washers to ensure bolts are torqued & correctly aligned.

4. Clip Fit Caps

Installation complete with clip in aluminium finish Top & End Caps.

1. Pre Drilled Eaves Beam

To save fitting time and guarantee that the correct amount of fixings are used, all eaves framework contains pre-drilled holes to benefit the installer.

 

This eliminates the necessity of measuring / drilling on site guaranteeing easy and consistent installation for every Keylite Flat Roof Lantern.

2. All in one Glazing Retainer

Our glazing element of every lantern can be installed with ease with Keylite’s all in one glazing retainer.

 

The innovative design prevents slip and covers both the end of the sealed unit and the external section of the eaves beam in one.

 

Once secured within the retainer, the glazing panel is simply positioned on the ridge and rotated downwards as the assembly guides into position. Reducing the installation time to seconds per unit.

3. One Bolt End Spas

This feature saves the installer a great deal of time compared to competitor systems.

 

Rafter fitment is completed by fixing a single 8mm bolt at the eaves beam end and a second is fitted from the outside to neatly secure the profile inside the end of the rafter.

4. Clip Fit Top & End Caps

The roof installation is completed with our clip-in aluminium end caps creating a smooth streamlined finish.

 

Each of the high-quality cast aluminium cappings simply click into position where they are firmly secured by a suitable clip.

 

Utilises tapered washers to ensure bolts are torqued & correctly aligned.

Glazing Options

Glazing Options

Keylite offer a range of high performance, self-cleaning glass options with blue, aqua, privacy and bronzed tints available. However, our more distinctive glazing options will accrue longer lead times.

 

As standard, all Keylite Flat Roof Lantern glazing units are delivered with self-cleaning glass on the external pane.

Our Flat Roof Lanterns are supplied in six standard sizes. Customers can request bespoke designs to suit their project requirements however all tailored applications are to be quoted and specified independently.

The maximum Roof Lantern Keylite can accommodate is 6m x 4m.

Lead Times

UK

For UK deliveries our Flat Roof Lantern components are dispatched and delivered separately for every order.

 

The two part delivery of the system is divided across 1-2 working days. It is important to ensure every customer is informed that the framework and glazing elements will be supplied separately to site.

 

For standard colours and glazing units the current lead time is 5 working days.

Non-standard colours and glazing units will incur a 10 working day lead time.

Lead Times

NI / ROI

NI and ROI deliveries are distributed with the external framework and glazing elements together. However they will experience slightly longer lead times.

 

For standard colours and glazing units the current lead time for NI & ROI customers is 7 working days.

Non-standard colours and glazing units will incur a 12 working day lead time.
