Existing Film Names

Transformers film title is bold and significant in front of the black background. The font of the Transformers is eye catching and as it is in metallic colour. The use of capitals means that the title means business and is giving a serious tone and there is something serious which is going to happen. The metallic colour of the font helps show it to be a sci-fi robotic/technology based film.

Jaws 2

Immediately if we compare this title to Transformers title page it is rather old fashioned and it is not the way we may expect in present film titles. However the viewer at that time will look at this differently. This film title is a sequel to Jaws. Initially we see the red bold font of Jaws 2. We could link this to blood or danger. Also the background appears to be the deep blue see therefore it could mean the film is set in the see. Or that it may revolve around creatures living in the sea. We see that the background is vast. Therefore it could mean that the viewer will not be able to escape.
