World Class Slide Decks and Educational Offerings
In August of this year, Nassim and a number of Academy team members converged in the mountains above Santa Cruz, CA.
We worked together on writing and editing modules, and
brought in a wonderful crew to record video footage for this pilot.
The videos in this slide show come from an afternoon session where Teresa asked Nassim to share about his own experience of being a “different kind of thinker,” looking at some of the things he learned by following a different path,
and how those things have impacted his life and research.
Nassim spent most of his childhood in Quebec, Canada
with his parents and older sister.
Nassim was a Professional Ski Instructor in his youth,
His home base was Banff Ski Resort, but he also traveled to, and worked at, a number of ski destinations around the world.
Nassim was an avid Free Diver and Scuba Instructor.
He has also spent countless hours swimming with
Dolphins, Whales, Manta Rays, Turtles
and other amazing sea life.
Scuba and Free Diving?”
During Nassim's 5 years of intensive research in solitude, he would often go solo climbing in the mornings or early evenings.
Many profound insights emerged during these moments of extreme focus and communion with nature.
Climbing?”
Surfing is Nassim's new love!
Surfing that influences your research?”
“Any final reflections on how studying Nature and participating
in Extreme Sports has influenced your life and research?”
“What did you learn from studying Modern Physics”?
your time in isolation?”
Nassim spent five years living very close to nature in this van, immersing himself fully in research, study and contemplation.

of intense research
