Why is this Important?

First and foremost: it's the right thing to do.

 

An inclusive environment leads to more diversity.

A more diverse group is more representative.

More representation leads to better design.

Better design leads to a better web.

More diverse teams produce higher quality results.

(And working groups are teams.)

Consider diversity as a factor
Diversity & Inclusion as a skill set
Become involved in Diversity CG
Bring more new people to TPAC
Sponsor initiatives like the TPAC Diversity Scholarship

We can best address this issue by nominating more diverse candidates.
