salesbox

why salesbox?
Lessons Learned from RS
- Startup are hard, do something that you have lots of motivation for (not just building a successful business)
- Think about who you will be meeting down this path. Are those people you are excited to know?
- Have a real, simple, business model
- Solve real problems for real people
salesbox

A CRM Supercharged with
Behavioral Psychology
We want to make people who sell happier, while we make them better
salesbox

- Make salient your weekly sales progress
- Re-frame unrewarding business development behaviors to be fun
- Create intrinsic motivation for positive (but mundane) sales behaviors
it's a little like fitbit
Fitbit makes you intrinsicly motivated to walk
Walk More
Improve General Health
Improve Quality of Life
Extrinsic
motivation for doing
What you know you need to do
The problem is walking is unrewarding. You see no sign of progress for weeks or months, and even then, quality of life is very hard to quantify and appreciate.
We want to be healthy, and we know walking and exercise is the key to that.
So fitbit tracks your steps, and makes you care about arbitrary step goals.
It makes you want to walk just to get more steps... that's intrinsic motivation!

That's what we do with sales!
Instead of following up with a prospect because you need to make quota this year, we make it intrinsically rewarding (as well as easy)
