Loft Ladders

The Keylite Loft Ladder is designed to ensure simple, fast installation, improved thermal efficiency and maximum safety. Pre-installed Flick-Fit brackets allows installation from below the loft with a unique detachable ladder to enable one person installation. The Keylite Loft Ladder is designed to make your life easier.

Our unique features enable the Keylite Loft Ladder to withstand loads up to 150kg. All our Loft Ladders are covered for 3 years under guarantee. Here are some of our Keylite Loft Ladder features.

Flick-Fit Brackets

Pre-fitted Flick-Fit brackets enables one person installation from below the loft.

Detachable Ladder

The Keylite Loft Ladder can be removed from the trap door to reduce the weight of the overall unit in order the make the installation as quick and easy as possible.

Controlled Dismount

The incredibly durable hinges used between the segments of the loft ladder increase safety.

Pre-fitted Handrail

Located to the right hand side of the ladder to provide added safety during use.

Continuous Seal

The continuous seal around the trap door reduces heat loss and improves overall air tightness of the product.

Insulated Trap Door
The white 36mm thick trap door achieves a U-value as low as 1.1 W/m²K

Recessed Locking
Keylite Loft Ladders are provided with a recessed locking system within the trap door for increased aesthetics and improved safety

Slip Resistant treads
The Profile of the rungs on a Keylite Loft Ladder include a series of built in slip resistant treads to offer increased safety and assurance to the user when accessing and egressing the ladder

Dovetail joints

This feature on the rungs of the ladder enable increased tensile strength, allowing the product to withstand up to 150kg

Protective feet
Every Keylite Loft Ladder is supplied with protective feet to cover the exposed timber at the end of the rails and prevent scratches on any laminate flooring

Our Keylite Fire Resistant Loft Ladder has been developed to meet specific building regulations and comply with increased fire restricting standards. Our Fire Resistant Loft Ladder has achieved a 30 minute fire rating.
 

Many of its features are identical to a standard Keylite Loft Ladder however there are a few fundamental differences.

Standard Keylite Loft Ladder (KYL)

Our standard loft ladders have been certified as meeting the requirements under regulation EN 14975.
 

This confirms our loft ladders are designed to improve safety and quality after undergoing a consensus based process to meet the European standard.

Fire Resistant Keylite Loft Ladder (KYL FRES)

Our Fire Resistant loft ladder has undergone test performances to show this product adheres to the standards of EN 16341 and EN 13501.
 

These regulations confirm our Fire Resistant ladder has a much tighter opening to enable smoke control and has attained a 30 minute fire rating. Shown as EL 30.

FSC

All our Loft Ladders are also FSC certified to show we support the responsible restoration of our raw materials.

Size Availability

Keylite Loft Ladders are available in a range of sizes to suit a variety of openings and ceiling heights. It is essential to note that our loft ladder product codes may refer to the same opening size but a different height.

The dimensions of our Fire Resistant Loft Ladder will differ from our standard range.
 

Fire Resistant ladders do not include unique flick-fit brackets incorporated into the frame which reduces the size of the unit to be installed
