Fun facts about me: My name is Sophia Payne, I love sarcasm, I garden and apparently grow state fair sized zucchini, I am single as a pringle, I love to be outside and active and water skiing is basically the greatest part of summer, I am in my final stages of the approval process for FOSTER CARE and wow is that a crazy thing to say, I really love life and not being sick so that I can thrive.

Telling people about Young Living’s Thieves product line is a JOY. Not only are these products phenomenal, but there are soooo many tricks and hacks on how to stretch them to work for even longer. Aka save allllll the money. This class is gonna be super fun!

Where It Started

 

2 years ago, my entire office got hit HARD with the flu. So much so, some of my coworkers got it twice. Insane. So, I diffused, rubbed on and ingested the Thieves essential oil like crazy. I never got the flu. I built up my immune system so well that it could handle that awful environment I was in and no sick days had to be used!

Here’s the backstory: Thieves—The Defender. Young Living’s proprietary Thieves® essential oil blend was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated and wore a special aromatic combination of clove, rosemary, and other botanicals. According to the legend, after being caught, they revealed their secret to secure a more lenient sentence.

Fun fact, Weber State University demonstrated the effectiveness of this blend against airborne microorganisms in a 1997 study! Possibly our most versatile and beloved blend of essential oils for home, Thieves is an important ingredient in the home cleaning and personal care products, replacing harsh chemicals with pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils and other naturally derived ingredients.

Smells like Christmas and keeps me movin’ and groovin’ without some dumb sickness bringing me down. YES PLEASE.

Cleaning with Thieves

 

 

The Thieves Household Cleaner is quite possibly the most diverse product Young Living has. I use it for spraying down surfaces after cutting up chicken, to clean my mirrors/windows, in a scrub for my tub, to clean the fabric seats in my car, and to boost my laundry detergent. It has naturally derived ingredients, including our Thieves blend. This is safe for family and pets! No worrying about littles crawling around or puppies licking the floor!

Thieves in the Kitchen

 

 

The Fruit & Veggie Soak is one of my favorites. Any time that I use it, my fruist/veggies last 2-3 weeks. No joke. I have no clue what is on them to make them deteriorate so fast, but if I don’t, then my blackberries are out of commission within a few days.

 

Fruit & Veggie Spray - infused with Thieves and Lime essential oils - perfect for on the go or small batches. Spray on and rinse off. Good to go!

 

Fruit & Veggie Wash – infused with Thieves, DiGize, and Purification essential oils. Gets rid of any gunk on those fruits and veggies that may be from the farm or the store (hello all the hands touching that apple). Soak in one capful to one gallon of water for only 2 minutes, rinse, and enjoy! Fruits and veggies will last longer thanks to this sucker!

Thieves Dental Care

 

Let’s make the dentist proud and also keep ourselves healthy. Majority of colds starts in our mouths. AND the lining of our mouths is the most absorbent part of the body. Double whammy. So if we consistently make our mouths healthy……..then maybe we can keep ourselves healthy?? Well, that’s been the case for me. I think it can be for you too!

Floss – Saturated twice with Thieves, strong fibers that glide easy and helps keep breath fresh.

Mouthwash – Infused with Thieves, Spearmint, and Peppermint - supports healthy gums and clean mouth. I use this consistently, but I always pull this sucker out when my throat is feeling funny and make sure to clean out my mouth of any bad bacteria. Works like a charm!

Thieves AromaBright Toothpaste - Contains no sulfates, synthetic dyes, artificial flavors, or preservatives – infused with Thieves, Peppermint, Spearmint, Cinnamon Bark – supports healthy looking gums and teeth, removes stains, helps with longer lasting fresh breath.

Thieves Dentarome Ultra – Made without any fluoride, dyes, or preservatives – infused with Thieves, Thyme, Peppermint, and Wintergreen – combats the effects of normal staining, gently brushes away daily buildup.

Thieves Whitening Toothpaste – This baby is new! Just came out last month! Also infused with natural ingredients so the whitening aspect shouldn’t make your teeth sensitive like other whitening products may have been known to do!

Thieves on the Go

 

I travel A LOT. I am on planes, in cars, random gas station bathrooms……and I’m fairly certain that everyone around me is sick when I’m traveling. Like what the heck. So, there’s a few things I do to ward off all the jank. I have my travel size Thieves Hand Purifier in my bag and Thieves Wipes for any and all…..surface area needs.

 

Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier – infused with Thieves, Peppermint, and Aloe Vera – purifies and refreshes, leaves skin soft.

 

Thieves Wipes – infused with the cleansing power of Thieves – use on counters and other areas that need to be cleansed. Do not use on sensitive parts of the body or on infants.

Thieves Lozenges/Cough Drops/Mints

 

 

Oral health is so important. Also, if you’re kissing someone……they agree with me. So let’s make that happen! Lozenges and cough drops for when you’re feeling a little cold coming on or are in full-fledged couch city. Mints for fresh breath/smooch session!

 

Thieves Lozenges – infused with Thieves and Peppermint, no sugar, preservatives, artificial flavors, or dyes – great taste, fresh breath, supports overall wellness.

 

Thieves Essential Oil Infused Cough Drops – Infused with Thieves and naturally derived Menthol from Peppermint – relieves coughs, soothes sore throats, and cools nasal passages.

 

Thieves Mints – infused with Thieves and Peppermint – naturally derived ingredients with no sugar, freshens breath.

Thieves and the Dishes

 

Whatever I clean my dishes with, I eventually consume. Chemicals don’t just magically disappear once we rinse our dishes with water. That brightly colored dish soap just isn’t worth it. Thieves dish soap and dishwasher detergent are incredible. A few hacks for ya because natural cleaners can be a bit different than what we are used to.

 

For the Dish Soap, cut it down to just one third of the soap, add 1 tsp of baking soda, some lemon essential oil and then fill with water. Shake it up and squirt on a sponge! I just add more to the sponge as I go!

 

For the dishwasher detergent, I only use one scoop. If ever your dishes look filmy, do a cycle with no dishes. Put Apple Cider Vinegar, lemon essential oil, Thieves Household Cleaner and some baking soda in the detergent tab. That’ll clear everything out and future loads will look nice and shiny!

 

Thieves Dish Soap – infused with Thieves, Jade Lemon, and Bergamot – gets dishes clean without chemicals, dyes, or synthetics.

 

Thieves Automatic Dishwasher Powder – infused with Thieves, Lemongrass, and Orange – made without synthetic surfactants, artificial fragrances, dyes, and phosphates – environmentally friendly formula that’s biodegradable – ultra concentrated.

Thieves and the Laundry

 

 

What’s on my clothes rubs onto my skin with then means it’s in my bloodstream in less than a minute. Depending on what kind of laundry detergent I use, that either freaks me out or makes me happy. I switched to the Thieves Laundry Detergent about a year ago and WOW. I am incredibly active and work in my yard all the time. So I have gross, sweaty, and dirty clothing. It cleans them so well and the smell is just amazing. Citrus meets Christmas.

 

Hack: Use only one third of the detergent in a bottle, 1-2 capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaner, 1 tsp baking soda, lemon essential oil and then fill with water. Stir it all up and then use like normal! Stretches it to last for SO LONG!

 

Thieves Laundry Detergent - Infused with Thieves, Jade Lemon, and Bergamot – natural enzymes and essential oils help gently wash your laundry without any chemical or synthetic residue.

Thieves in the Bathroom

 

 

Guys are so weird about essential oils, but anytime I have a guy friend over to my house….they ALWAYS comment on how much they love the Thieves Hand Soap I have in my bathroom! I don’t know what it is about that specific product, but there ya go.
