Centre Pivot roof windows are designed to only pivot from the centre of the frame. This operation allows the internal sash to rotate 180˚enabling access to the external glazing from inside the room.
The opening handle situated at the top of the window also controls ventilation. This allows fresh air flow into the living space even when the window is secure.
All Centre Pivot roof windows are also available in Electric and Solar operation.

Keylite Smoke Ventilation kits can only be legally supplied in the UK with two of our Centre Pivot roof window sizes. The sizes which can accommodate SVK operation are:
Top Hung roof windows also have the ability to pivot from the centre. Activating a Top Hung operation requires the removal of two red bolts situated on either side of the frame. Once the roof window has been successfully installed, removing these bolts will disable the central pivot operation.
A Top Hung roof window has two points of ventilation, the first is identical to a Centre Pivot roof window - at the top of the window.
The second is enabled through the separate opening handle located at the bottom of this style of roof window.
Keylite Fire Escape and Top Hung roof windows are exactly the same product. All available standard sizes except our '01 and 02' roof windows meet the appropriate regulations to market our Top Hung range as Fire Escape roof windows.
Our PVC roof window provides a brilliant white, maintenance free finish.
Our White Painted window has an internal timber frame coated with a white polyurethane based paint.
Our Pine window also has an internal timber frame coated with a clear lacquer to provide a sleek finish.
Sash Hinge Finger Spring
Allows the sash to be installed back into the frame in one smooth effortless motion.
Integrated Expanding Thermal Collar
Flick Fit Bracket
Our pre-fitted brackets make the window quicker, easier and safer to install by allowing installation from inside the room.
Our unique thermal collar expands to fill the void between the window frame and the roof, reducing the cold bridging effect.
Our range is available in both standard and non-standard sizes. Keylite's size matrix can be used to establish the dimensions and type of roof window available.
The structural opening required for our roof windows will always follow the same rule. The opening must be constructed to allow a 20mm void all the way around the window. Therefore, an additional 40mm will need to be accounted for, on both the width and length of every window installed.
20mm + Width of Window + 20mm
eg. '04' roof window = 20mm + 780mm + 20mm = 820mm
20mm + Height of Window + 20mm
eg. '04' roof window = 20mm + 980mm + 20mm = 1020mm
820mm x 1020mm (W x H)
780mm
20mm + 780mm + 20mm = 820mm
980mm
20mm + 980mm + 20mm = 1020mm
A Skylight is ideal to flood living spaces with natural light in circumstances where opening and closing is not required.
Only available in white painted timber.
Unlike the Fixed Shut Roof Window, the Skylight does not feature a glazed sash. The glazing element is incorporated into the frame.
