    Participants in this session will complete CliftonStrengths prior to attending the session. During the session participants will receive a general overview of the strengths philosophy and positive psychology. Participants will also participate in interactive activities that will help them to better understand their strengths and how to leverage them in working in groups and teams

  • Session 7: Inclusive Leadership

    Participants in this session will be exposed to and practice techniques for recognizing and working through conflict when in a collaborative environment. Techniques from the text Crucial Conversations will be used to work through real scenarios may have been exposed to. Additionally, participants will be exposed to the concept of empathy and how empathy can be an effective tool for resolving conflict

  • Session 6: Conflict to Collaboration

    Participants in this session will be exposed to and practice techniques for recognizing and working through conflict when in a collaborative environment. Techniques from the text Crucial Conversations will be used to work through real scenarios may have been exposed to. Additionally, participants will be exposed to the concept of empathy and how empathy can be an effective tool for resolving conflict

  • Session 8: Win as Much as You Can

    In this session participants will engage in an interactive activity titled ‘Win as Much as You Can.’ This activity places participants in teams where they are challenged to win as many points as they can by working with other members in the room. Because of this session, participants will be introduced to how collaborate effectively interpersonally.

    In this final session, participants will learn techniques for engaging and motivating team members. In this session, participants will also learn how to effectively set goals and create a vision for the future; these are tools that can be used to help motivate teammates.

    Participants in this session will engage in activities that promote innovation in teams. Participants will also learn about the importance of diversity in teams and techniques for managing that diversity. As part of this session, participants will be exposed to the Stanford d Schools model for design thinking
