Integration and Innovation

• Student success in collaborative, project-based learning forming independent thinkers, responsible young adults
• New Technology High School integrates all subjects, pulling together the collective knowledge of students
• With technology at every students' fingertips, a laptop is another tool in the belt of knowledge

Potential Roadblocks

• Money and resources do not equal success
• Lack of investment:
  • All levels from students to administration must understand the mission of 1:1
• Lack of innovation:
  • Using technology to solely type or complete state tests
• Lack of training or support:
  • Faculty and staff must feel supported in closing knowledge gaps and confident in their ability to coach students
