Get a color palette from an image

Drop in a photo, logo or screenshot to find its main colors. Copy them as HEX or RGB, or grab the whole palette as CSS variables. Your image is never uploaded.

Choose an image or drop or paste one here. Your image stays on your device.

How it works

  1. Choose an image

Pick a file, drop it onto the page or paste one from your clipboard.

  2. Pick how many colors

Get between 3 and 12 colors, sorted by how much of the image they cover.

  3. Copy your colors

Click a swatch to copy its HEX code, or copy the whole palette as CSS.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The colors are calculated in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.

How are the colors chosen?

Similar pixels are grouped together and each group's average becomes one color in the palette.

Can I use the palette in a presentation?

Yes. In Slides you can set a deck's colors in its theme, or use custom CSS with the variables from this tool.

Make your slides match your brand.

Use your palette in a Slides theme so every deck looks the part.
