PRESENT TENSES

  • Presente perfecto simple: contar algo que ya pasó, hablar de una experiencia y del # de veces que he hecho algo. (HAVE/HAS + V. 3era columna).
  • Presente perfecto continuo: contar algo que sigo haciendo y que tiene una consecuencia. (HAVE/HAS + BEEN + V. -ING).
  • Presente continuo: acciones que están pasando en este momento. (+) AM/IS/ARE + V. -ING. (-) AM/IS/ARE + NOT + V. -ING.
  • Presente simple: hábitos, frecuencia de una acción, rutinas o de cosas que son verdad. 1. HE/SHE/IT: (+) agrego la -s o -es al verbo. (-) DOESN'T. (?) DOES. 2. YOU/WE/THEY/I: (+) verbo normal (sin la -s). (-) DON'T. (?) DO.

Present Perfect Simple

*To express things you have done in your life (experiences).

*To express number of times you have done something.

She has seen that movie twice.

This is the best food I have ever tried.

Have you travelled out of the country?

Present Perfect Continuos

Actions started in the past, continue in the present and will continue in the future.

He has been reading since 11:00 am.

I am tired because I have been working for three hours.
