Time expressions
PRESENT SIMPLE
PRESENT CONTINUOUS
- Every day/ month /hour /summer /morning/evening, etc.
- Usually.
- Often.
- Sometimes.
- Always.
- Now/Today.
- At the moment.
- At present.
- Nowadays/These days.
- Tomorrow/Next month.

Adverbs of frequency usually goes with the present simple.
The adverbs "always" and "sometimes" goes with the present continuous to talk about frequent actions that annoy the person who is speaking.

Present Simple
I - You - We - They WORK. Aux. DO/DON'T.
She - He - It WORKS. Aux. DOES/DOESN'T.

He always leaves the office early on Friday.
We don't have time for a quick drink.
She doesn't speak French.
Present Continuous
Verb to be (am/is/are) + main verb + -ING.

They aren't working on an important project
Joe is eating a sandwich at the moment.
We are getting a pay rise next month.
