I first of all introduced the public to my magazine by surveying strangers and telling them all about my ideas. I would then promote my magazine using flyers spread around town, at pop concerts and in local stores I know my target audience shop at.

I then address them by talking about their common interests in certain articles, giving them the chance to win tickets for artists/ bands they all like, and using very specific fonts, colours and layout that relate to their lifestyle
