How i attracted my audience
cUSTOME
The costume within the opening was easy breezy we wanted to make it as relatable as possible therefore we didn't focus as much on the costume as we could of because its an urban drama the audience had to be able to connect with the actors.
The actors are wearing clothes in everyday life but we can see from their costume what they are like, as a person and their personality. By dong this the audience can easily be able to identify one of their friends or them as an individual.

Sound
The music we used would appeal to the audience because of its genre. We used different mixtures of music from 'Bashment' to grime and then to an intense feel music to represent the situation.
Our film is an urban British film and conventionally the music is always British. Therefore reinforcing it was essential. A person from our target audience would be someone who is into Grime and Hip-Pop. which is one of the main reasons why we used these specific genre.
ACTORS
The actors within our opening are all male, there is one girl but for a split second. Our opening is mainly aimed at males however its not to say women would not want to watch the film.
The use of all boys means that men/boys will be more connected to the film. Whereas if we had a trailer and their were all girls, girls would be more interested as it would be seen as a chick flick.
story line
Our story is based of the 2011 riots which means their is real context to the film. The riots affected everyone individually which means everyone will be able to remember their own experience while watching the film.
Within our opening we reinforced how teenagers were seen when the incident happened and our target audience will be interested because they might agree or disagree with our interpretation.
