Solution

The Product Enhancement Session is 3 times a week 15 minutes long session where engineers are using aspects of the product they're not dealing with during work.

Team leaders and managers should empower those 15 minutes by providing them ideas, encouraging them to share bugs and feedbacks, providing them the tools to do so (devices, ...).

• Investigating the viewer/broadcaster sides stream limits (changing network, put application in background, ...)
• Checking how bullet proof the chat actually is
• Checking the website on other devices
• Comparing user experience on iOS vs Android
• ...

Problematic #1

The upper management is concerned that not enough engineers are actually using the end product during work.

Partially solved

Upper management will see the input of the engineers regarding the product.

The upper management is finding bugs by themselves which should be the exception and not the rule.

Partially solved

By using their own devices (or test devices) they'll multiply the chance of discovering main/edge case bugs.

Engineers also have another way of using application than testers. Engineers will also be responsible to follow-up on the bugs they discover.

By encouraging engineers to use all sides of the product (iOS, Android, Website, Admin UI, ...) we will guide them to have a more broad knowledge about Streamago.

By using the whole product, engineers will be encouraged to share their experience regarding all sides of Streamago. We will also provide them time to write down those ideas.
