Question-6
What have you learnt abut technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Final cut pro: We used final cut pro to edit our film. Final cut pro is used to create high quality HD videos, it is very flexible to use as it is easy to import videos you filmed from your camera onto the software to edit. Also you can do a number of things such as change the pace of a video. One way in which we done this was when Hadi does football tricks and runs past the defender, we slowed down the clip where the defenders turns his neck out of amazement to see that Hadi has gone passed him. Final cut pro enabled us to trim and lengthen clips to add pace and continuity which is evident in our film
Soundlcoud (Creative commons)
Creative Commons is a non-profit organisation that makes an array of music available for the public to share, use and edit. They have various licences that enable the authors of the product to say which rights they own and which rights that they want to make available for the public, therefore giving both parties the opportunity to get what they want.
In our opening, we plan to use a variation of music in order to convey key themes and ideas. At the beginning of our opening, the protagonist is young and enthusiastically playing football. Due to this, we plan to play samba music in the background whilst he is doing do. This goes hand in hand with the fast-paced action that will occur in the scene, thus giving it a sense of fluidity. In addition to this, we will sound bridge the music into the following scene when the protagonist is older and still playing football. This will show that his love for football is still there, regardless of his growth
Later in the opening, when the protagonist has a confrontation with another group of boys, we plan on using an instrumental featuring Wiley; a well known grime artist based in London. This will bring a sense of tension to the scene as well as highlight the theme of crime in our opening.
We had to make a distribution and production ident in to make our film seem more realistic. In order to do this, we had to use a software called Motion 4.
In our first attempt, we created our rough production and distribution idents, however we thought that they were too basic and time consuming to create. So to overcome this, we decided to use two of the professionally designed templates that were available to use. This both saved us time and provided us with a presentable title. We decided to use the swarm template for our distribution company because we thought it reflected the nature of our group.

Jvc camera
We used the jvc camera to film Revival. We firstly learnt how to use the camera and perform specific shots. the Jvc camera enabled us to film HD videos which was clear and looked professional.
