You are a Digital Forensics Investigator at CyberSecure Solutions. A company's finance department reports that confidential financial records have been leaked. A laptop and a USB drive belonging to a suspected employee have been seized for investigation. Before any forensic analysis begins, you must properly document, label, collect, transfer, and store the evidence while maintaining a complete Chain of Custody (CoC) record.
Pre-Lab Preparation
Your responsibility is to ensure that every person who handles the evidence is recorded so that the evidence remains authentic, traceable, and legally admissible in court.
