When does
Transformative Learning occur?
Transformative learning often begins
in response to a DISORIENTING EXPERIENCE.
This can be a LIFE CRISIS or a situation that shakes us deeply
by presenting a reality that contradicts our WORLDVIEW.
This can also be a gradual realization of a lack of
meaning in our lives,
such as goals or identities we have outgrown.
At these transformative times, we can:
FEEL OUT OF SYNC with our previous way of being.
REVIEW our beliefs and values.
REDEFINE ourselves and our relationships to others.
