How did you address your audience in 'Bullied'?

In my film 'bullied' myself and my group have been working really hard to present the target audience well and create ways to attract our target audiences which are fe-male teenagers.
The aspects of my opening that appeal to my target audience is the ; Mis-en-scene, characters, Location and the Name of the opening.
In my opening, Mis-en-scene is used to represent the young fe-male teens; sporty, princess, casual by their cloths.
The storyline is of a young fe-male teen whom is lonely, bullied and unwanted from her sibling and friends. The storyline I believe is the main subject which is enough to attract it's audience because surely, there are many female teens whom are able to relate to this situation.
The actors have made a great job to convey their stories. For example, Tee's always had an emotional face on by straightening her eyebrows to imply an upset emotion as she's getting bullied.
The Location was set in an urban flat to represent London and to make teens feel as though the characters are also just like anybody else which is another aspect to drawing the audience  to the opening.

Mary has just very kindly suggested our group a few tips on how to improve our final editing process. Firstly, Mary was amazed over the music we'd chosen! She said how it sounds extremely strong and punchy which captures the audience in very well. She's also was quite impressed with the character organization, the sporty, casual and the princess which comes across very strongly. Mary also suggested that the 'opening the door part' could be on slow motion as well as the 'throwing the phone' scene because the audience could struggle spotting whatever is going on. Finally, we definitely  'need to have a fade out at the end of the last shot to end everything.' This feedback helped us out a lot because then, we had the chance to develop our opening film from the feed back we've received by a professional.

So far, we've reached our audience through the Cinema preview that we had on Monday 26th  March 2014. At the preview, I felt glad that many people were interested to watch and anticipate the opening.
I've also been watching other openings from the members of AS Media students and there were amazing creations with different genres such as; thriller, comedy and drama but we all had the same target audience , teens. Though, mine is specifically aimed at fe-male teens. This was a great choice to make because our creation is 'different' and unique from the rest of all the other openings.
