institution might
distribute your media product and why?
DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
The name of our distribution company was 'To Get You There'. We chose to no replicate another already made company, and thought that this was a fitting name for students instead of people who are already 'there'. The stop motion is meant to resemble a loading symbol, which shows the patience needed to achieve.
ProDUCTION COMPANY
Our production company's name just comes from the name of our group. We wanted to do another stop motion but the idea for this one was an independent brand who supports small, arty films.
Why did we choose these companies?
We chose these production companies because we wanted to use small companies that promoted independent films, and each company holds their own virtue, 17th Productions the creativity and art film promotions and To Get You There as a production company that support starting film makers.
The psychological thriller aspect isn't a particularly mainstream genre, so we wanted companies that were also boot mainstream, and instead of going with one like Studio Canal, we decided to create our own with stop motion.
