No-No's
- Do not force camera rotation along yaw. 🤢
- Try to avoid moving the player
- If you must, constant acceleration
- Do not lock player orientation (e.g. during a loading screen)
- Small Text
- Anything that causes bad perf/dropped frames
Moving Around
- Typically teleportation
- Point at where you want to move
- Screen quickly fades to black/blink animation
- Fades out and you're at the place you pointed at
- Avoid 'Vection'
- Feeling that you're moving around the world
- Design experience so that world moves around you
