Editing Day 4

Today was the final day of editing, woop! As I opened final cut pro, I realised Kris and Shannon had added new music, ident and the titles the previous day. This was really beneficial as it gave me time to fine tune everything and see what was missing. I realised the titles were not in line with the guidelines of the text frame, so I adjusted each of them and made the fonts the same as some of them were different from one another. Also, the new music that was added had cross fades that weren't in sync with the video so I altered the fades and length of the music, accordingly.

 I remembered Marisa telling me about foley sound and realised it was not added into the film, so I looked in our video drive and added the sounds I had found the previous lesson, the sounds consisted of a creaky gate and doors closing. I added the foley sounds and made sure they were in sync with the action. Finally, I asked Rebecca our teacher and Teddy the technician to watch our video and they seemed very pleased so I saved the final video onto our video drive.
