All your contacts on one safe place!

Why?

Because your contacts might be scattered all over the place!

  • gmail
  • Facebook
  • outlook
  • yahoo mail
  • old phones
  • old computers
  • old work emails

Privacy and security

In a statement, Yahoo said user information including names, email addresses, telephone numbers, birth dates, encrypted passwords and, in some cases, security questions

Someone is listening in...

It's just a weird feeling to know that Google or Apple are looking inside your contacts. Especially when it's not necessary for their product to work.

V-CARDS

So we are going to use

What are V-cards?

Vcard files or VCF for short are documents that store contacts, they are a standard and will work with every laptop, computer or phone

How do you make a V-card?

Think of it as writing on a physical Address book

V-cards follow this logic:

first contact begins here

king kong

cellphone number is 123...

fisrt contact ends here

second contact begins here

mario bros

home phone is 321..

second contact ends here

.
.
.
.
etc

mario bros

.
.
.
.
etc

King Kong

mario bros

321...

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN:king kong
TEL;TYPE=CELL:123...
END:VCARD
BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN:mario bros
TEL;TYPE=HOME:321..
END:VCARD
first contact begins here

king kong

cellphone number is 123...

fisrt contact ends here

second contact begins here

mario bros

home phone is 321..

second contact ends here

.
.
.
.
etc

What you mean

What you type

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN:king kong
TEL;TYPE=CELL:123...
END:VCARD
BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN:mario bros
TEL;TYPE=HOME:321..
END:VCARD

Write this in plain text and save it as a .vcf

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN:king kong
TEL;TYPE=CELL:123...
END:VCARD
BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN:mario bros
TEL;TYPE=HOME:321..
END:VCARD

For example I will name this as contacts.vcf

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
N:Lastname;Surname
FN:FULL NAME GOES HERE
ORG:ORGANIZATION GOES HERE
URL:WEBSITE GOES HERE
EMAIL:EMAIL GOES HERE
TEL;TYPE=CELL:CELLPHONE GOES HERE
TEL;TYPE=HOME:HOMEPHONE GOES HERE
B-DAY:YYYY-MM-DD
NOTE:Here you can write any notes, Using "N:" is not mandatory. Coppy paste this in a text file as much as you want. Remember to save as "NAME.vcf".Order doesn't matter. Begin and end with "BEGIN:VCARD VERSION:3.0 and END:VCARD" Keep this as a reminder to you in the future. END:VCARD

Use this preset by copy pasting this and editing your own info.
