A Little Bit About Bastyr:

The first program offered by Bastyr was Naturopathic Medicine.

Today, Bastyr offers more than 19 different degrees and certificate programs.

Bastyr University was founded in 1978 in honor of Dr. John Bastyr, a pioneering figure in natural medicine and a doctor and teacher who helped rescue the naturopathic medicine field from obscurity.

As of Fall 2019, Bastyr University is home to 1,000 students, 200 faculty and over 6,000 alumni that span across the globe.
