Katy Perry's album has a theme of the colour pink and sweets. Her album name is teenage dream. This is portrayed in the music videos for songs off of the album, for instance many of her music videos feature teenages and parties which relates back to the album name. 'California Gurls' features sweets and the same pink candy floss cloud shown on the CD cover. And her music video's also feature a lot of the colour pink just like the CD cover.
