The genre of my project is a magazine. I have chosen to do a magazine as I think that this will engage the target audience as they often read magazines.

Sub-Genre

FAshion and Events

The sub-genre of my magazine is fashion and events. I have chosen this as my genre as I think that it will be unusual as a fashion magazine that includes events is not often seen. 

Front Cover 

I will include features of magazines that are needed to make the front cover successful. These include: masthead, sell lines, colour scheme, main image, sub images, logo, slogan, bar code, strap line, essential information, anchorage and promotional puff.

Contents 

To make the contents page appealing and successful, I will include the following features: main image, magazine logo, sub headings, masthead, date, sub images, page numbers, content and website.

DPS

For my DPS, I will include the features seen on other DPS pages as this will help me to create a more successful page for my magazine. I will include:  drop caps, pull quotes, main images, sub images, masthead, page numbers, columns and stand firsts.
