There is a confident rookie who has challenged the national team's outfielders. It is Kim Hyun-jong 20, an outfielder of the LG Twins.

The LG Twins team left for Arizona, the U.S., where the 2024 spring camp will be held, through Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 30th.

LG has an ultra-luxury national outfield lineup consisting of Kim Hyun-soo, Park Hae-min, and Hong Chang-ki. On top of that, Moon Sung-joo, a key backup, is holding out. "I think the better the older guys are, the more they have to learn. The first thing I have to do is learn a lot from the older guys. Of course, I won't be able to play fast as a mainstay, but I will take my time and work hard to build up the basics. I think I will learn a lot from them in technical areas such as hitting, defense and so on," Kim said.

He was the oldest senior in high school, but now he is the youngest member of a professional team. "I used to work out as a group in high school, but I worked out tailored to each individual in the professional league. I came to know what I needed and what I needed to do a lot. It was nice to know about my weaknesses and strengths," said Kim Hyun-jong. "I am a little worried because there are a lot of seniors that I only saw on TV and there are seniors who have a big age gap.
