Pitch 1

Characters: someone being Chance the Rapper and the other being a love interest

Setting: a roller rink

introduction: a muted scene of close up shots of rollerskates, wide shots of people skating where the characters are present but not in focus. 2 children sitting and talking, however it turns into a heated, childish argument.

They are still arguing, but in slow motion. The children run to their siblings who are dancing, and they start tugging on their legs saying they want to go home. Their siblings refuse and tell them to go and sit down. So they go back to the bench and sulk.

They are later accompanied by their group of friends who were also sent back by their siblings. They all start having childish fun on the bench. the boy stares at the girl and digs into his pocket for a packet of sweets and offers it to the girl. However, she says no. His friend however, taps him and signals him to look up. He looks up and The next shot is of the older people in the roller rink dancing and having fun

After the bridge in the song, there is a pause between it and the next verse.

It is a shot of the girl when she is older and she walks in the roller rink with her boyfriend who kisses her forehead.

The song starts again. The guy acting as the artist looks up and smiles when he sees her. Her boyfriend is seen leaving, leaving her at the door alone. The artist walks up to her and offers her a dance as soon as the door closes.

They start dancing, and there is later a wide shot of the rink, removing the focus of the main actors. This is to show children telling the older people that they want to go home, and then being told to sit on the bench. Then there is a close up of the main actors smiling at each other.
