Conclusions

  • A lot of community effort and development is being done for large-than-memory computing. We should engage more with them.
     
  • Zarr v3 solves the "lots of files" issues we discussed during the last meeting. But the standard is very recent and still requires development
     
  • They didn't mention the issue with 3D and multi-scale
