Conventions of indie pop

Cover conventions

• Covers usually have beautiful scenarios as background images
• Covers that include the artists are either clasps or a medium shot, usually not a full body shot of the artist
• Covers for indie pop music are very colourful and usually involve arty and abstract designs

Applying this to our cover

We like the simplicity of the original cover, but we want to use the colours so that it represents the indie pop conventions.
