Google Scholar access is available through our library subscriptions. Make sure to utilize the resources you’re paying for and that are properly vetted.

1. Go to MYHPU.edu and login with your credentials

2. Go to Web Links option and add the PA Research Guide as a new link.

3. Go to the PA Research Guide and scroll down PA databases. Access UptoDate.

4. Click the “Register” link in the upper right navigation to go to the Registration page and complete the registration form.

5. Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from UpToDate with instruction on downloading the Mobile App.

You must access UpToDate periodically so you continue to have access, if you do not login in 90 days you will need to access it again via the MyHPU route.

AI: Helpful Tool, Not Your Evidence

Bias & Hallucinations – AI can invent citations, misstate facts, and reflect bias. Always verify.
Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) – Searching and appraising are core skills; don’t outsource them.
Course Policy – Follow your syllabus/instructor. Cite AI if used.
Data Privacy & Copyright – Don’t upload class work, exams, or full articles; this may break policies or copyright law.
