George requested that a friend and fellow student Grace McNabb could sing 'Man in the Mirror' by Michael Jackson to feature in trailer of our film, Vanity. We thought this song was appropriate for our film because of the lyrics and simply the title of the track. 'Man in the Mirror' sums up our film plot quite nicely we feel like and we thought this would fit in well with our trailer and how we want it to look. We asked Grace if she could start the song slowly and build up the pace as the track goes on, this is because we want to follow conventions of film trailers and how the pace changes to create tension or excitement as well as to better portray the emotions that we are trying to express through the use of a song such as this.
