• The Philippines is known to be one of the most LGBT friendly places in the world.

• The Philippines hosted the largest PRIDE march in Asia.

• The Philippines is known to be one of the fastest growing countries in terms of HIV cases

• The Philippines has a strong and passionate mapping community in the country.

"PRE-PANDEMIC"

• Communities are shifting to digital platforms - FB Live, Zoom Webinars - which means bars and restaurants are closing down, e.g. Today X Future, Catch 272, Kapuwa

• HIV Testing has been limited and ARV distribution disrupted.

• More LGBTs need to stay at home for safety, thus prone to domestic discrimination

because not all spaces are defined by straight lines...
